Noosa Headz came to us with dated branding, a website and an in-house booking system that needed an update. We designed a new logo, refreshed the brand identity, built a new website with online booking so clients can book without calling, and connected their in-house products through Shopify.
Josi Yates
Brand identity
Website experience
Noosa Headz is personal. The brand needed to feel as real, easy-going and distinctive as Josi Yates herself.
We brought the identity and the online experience into the same world: warm, tactile and a little bit raw. When we shared the direction, Josi described it as “very contemporary, but in a way that evokes my passion for natural hairdressing” a response that captured the balance we were aiming for.
And it’s practical where it counts. Clients can book online without having to make a phone call, while Josi’s own in-house products have a home on the site through its Shopify connection.
Unpolished
in all the
right ways.
The visual language draws on the warmth of the salon itself: earthy neutrals, soft sage and blush, balanced with a grounded ochre. It feels collected rather than overly perfected.
A distinctive wordmark gives the brand its own unmistakable voice. Special Elite adds a typewriter-like counterpoint that feels a little imperfect and distinctly personal, while keeping the information around it clear.
Salon life,
made simpler.
The website gives the brand a clear digital home: a place to understand the salon, explore services and take the next step in their own time.
Online booking is built into the experience, so clients can arrange an appointment without picking up the phone. The flow feels like a natural part of the site, not an afterthought.
Noosa Headz Products
Josi’s in-house products are part of the Noosa Headz story. We connected her product range to Shopify so customers can buy directly through the website.
Customers can discover her products in the same place they explore services and book an appointment, with a consistent brand experience throughout.
